Zoom-n-Save™:
Zoom-N-Save™
This high production tool brings municipal sewage inspection technology to the 21st century. Capable of gathering data on about one mile of pipe and the associated man-holes per shift, this product can save you money and time in reaching your objectives. The Zoom-N-Save program is composed of three distinct phases.
- Inventory – Depending on the size and budget of the municipality, inventories can be completed in a few short months or as long as several years.
- Status of Assets – This programs analyses the footage recorded, and codes the assets in accordance to industry standards.
- Data Management – this program provides the municipality with a searchable data base that contains the asset identifiers, related footage, stills, asset status and, can generate reports of pre-set queries, or specialized queries can be designed for specific need.
This three part process gives you, the customer, a tool to generate a “Master Plan” to address your issues, and seek the necessary financing from the purse holders with documented facts, backed up with visual information.
ITP’s Zoom-N-Save™ programs can be custom designed for each municipality to meet their individual needs. There are some basic features and benefits that the program offers.
- The program used by ITP is able to take existing ARC/GIS mapping that a municipality may be using and integrate it into its system, thus working with established asset identifiers, not duplicating any existing data points or creating new ones. The data collected from the zoom camera is then uniquely identified by this pre-existing and known identifier. This minimizes the possibility of data errors. Where no previous ARC/GIS information is available, the program builds a new mapping system that is coupled with the collected data. This will help that municipality in its sewer system management and performance, reducing costs and avoiding emergencies.
- After the data is gathered in the field, qualified office technician (trained in WRc-based sewer condition classification method) review all the inspection videos, and use survey software to record the defects observed, and calculate priority grades using WRc standard of grading and language.
- The query and reporting feature of the service give the municipality the necessary data to generate a Master Plan to address their maintenance issues. In addition, any repairs made after the preliminary inspections, can be updated and date-stamped, so historical data can be maintained and accessible to future planners and managers in the municipality.
Optional additional data can be secured during inspection to meet municipal requirements. Some of these options can include GPS data of manholes, visual and movie inspection of manholes, plus others.
